The HKFLA will be holding a talk by Mr. Azan Marwah on Wednesday, 8 January 2025 at 6:30pm at the Hong Kong Club.
Talk: Hong Kong and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child after 35 years:- Will we ever have a Children’s Bill?
Mr. Marwah is a barrister and mediator and Head of Chambers at Pantheon Chambers specializing in public law and family litigation, including in matters relating to children’s rights.
He is currently appointed as a Lecturer at the University of Hong Kong teaching Equality and Non-discrimination law. He is the General Editor and Author of the Hong Kong Family Court Tables.
Out of court, Mr. Marwah is committed to child protection, family and children’s rights. He is the current chair of the Hong Kong Committee on Children’s Rights and acts as honorary legal advisor to Mother’s Choice.
